A Little About Me

Hello! And welcome to my little space on the internet..

My husband and I have been married for 20 years, and I’m a stay-at-home mom to our three teenage boys. Jacob, 19 is in his second year of college and majoring in Chemistry. Josh, 15 a freshman in high school, and also class president. And Jordan is 13 and in middle school. And Patches who has taken up residence in the cabinet of our master bathroom is our very introverted cat of 12 years. Yes, I live in a house with 5 males. Lol.

We live on a quiet street in somewhat of a cul-de-sac where most of the homes look the same. We’ve called this place home for the last 17 years, and although we’ve out grown it a bit, I still love it. I remember the first time I walked in I knew this would be the place where we would raise our family. It was bright and open with beautiful vaulted ceilings making the space look a lot bigger, but the best part was, it was turn key!

A year after our first son was born I felt the Lord calling me to quit my job and stay home full time. Being a stay-at-home mom has been such a blessing it has allowed me to ready my boys for school. And as they are now older, I has allowed me to step into a new calling for a new season.

Most people would call me an introvert and I would hands down have to agree. I love people, but alone is where I can recharge and become the best version of myself. It was just recent that I felt comfortable enough to say that out loud.

I love reading books, watercolor painting, writing and creating warm spaces in our home. I haven’t always loved writing, but while I have been practicing the art everyday, I have grown to love it! In just recent years writing has helped me cope with anxiety. I hope to share more about my journey with anxiety here in this space. I love gardening and I am determined to learn the craft.

My favorite thing to do is spend time with my family and if I’m by myself you will often find me at my desk painting, studying God’s Word or writing. I love coffee, candles, books and collecting beautiful journals.

Friend, I am so glad you’re here, and I hope in this space you are inspired and encouraged!

XoXo
